Headlight lens cover.
I just had a Sate inspection done on my 2008 Cayenne S. It passed, however, it was recommended that I get new lens cover for the right side headlight. I usually just clean them up with a clay bar and fine polishing. It is my understanding that the bi-xenon headlight assembly is a semi sealed assembly. Is it really possible to replace the lens? I did find new lens covers for sale at close to $ 2,000.00 cheaper than the whole assembly, however, these must be for a different headlight type.

I don't think replacing the lens is an option. I wet sand mine (2004 TT) with 1500 grit and finish with PlastiX about every other year before safety inspection. They look like new. The first time it takes a bit more work...but then it only takes a minute or two. I do the same for my other cars.
