2017 Cayenne All Wheel Drive System Fault?
I'm new to modern Porsches but have 2 pre-OBD air cooled models I've kept running for 15+ years. I bought my 2017 Cayenne base model 4 weeks ago. This weekend the "All-wheel drive system fault" message showed up on the display. I plugged in my Autel scanner and got the following DTCs for the All-wheel drive system:
000001 Terminal 30 circuit open 000123 Power Supply below limit C11000 Voltage below limit value I found a wiring diagram and saw that fuse #12 (on the right side fuse panel) is a 30A fuse that goes to Terminal 30 of the All Wheel Drive Control Unit. This fuse was blown, which explains the "Terminal 30 circuit open" trouble code, but when I plugged in another 30A fuse with the key off it immediately blew. The RED/WHITE wire side of the fuse shows 0 ohms to ground. I need to find where the wire physically goes and the other end at the ALL WHEEL DRIVE CONTROL UNIT. Does anyone know the exact location of the ALL WHEEL DRIVE CONTROL UNIT? Thank you, |

Possible under the passenger seat, stacked below another module, dont tear it apart until you get a flashlight and look to confirm. I searched a forum and some reported it there.
