I am too stoopid to own a Macan....
Should I ask my stoopid questions here (edited... I thought I was in OT) or in the Macan forum....
I already have a history here :D edited: See ... I thought I was posting in Off Topic .... oops. How do you access the rear area if the battery is dead? A new to me 2017 Macan S ... been sitting for 3 months ... nada... nothing works. I had no info ... I will hook a charger up to the access under the front hood tomorrow and ??? Am I right? My first post in this forum.... won't be my last ... unless OT is better :) Thanks! |
That's a great question!

The jump-start terminals are located under the hood along the driver’s side fender, beneath a small plastic trim cover.
Connect jumper cables or a jump box there to provide power to the vehicle—this will allow you to open the hatch and access the battery. You’ll find it under the floor, beneath the spare tire, and below the subwoofer. Have fun! |
I am a LOT smrater today ... thanks to the guys in OT and a few searches here :)
I have one more attempt ... using my charger/starter in "start mode" later today via the front terminals. Thank you! |
I’m following your progress here and on OT.
Good luck pal. I can’t believe you need to code a new battery with and ODB2 scanner. |
