Think any Porsche without a 911 badge is a fake? How does a 700hp Cayenne sound to you? THIS just made a convert out of me!

I'm sure it is a true beast performance wise, but I think I will be more impressed with what Ruf does with the Cayenne.
I will give Gemballa a lot of credit for toning down their designs from some of the truly hideous cars of the 80s. Their "tuner" 996TTs are actually relatively understated and certainly make the power. FWIW, I would be perfectly happy with a stock Cayenne Turbo. ![]() BR, Kurt (edit added PS) P.S.: I bet that Gemballa Cayenne is probably faster around most any track than 99% of the 911s on this board - assuming a skilled driver is at the wheel! Flame me, baby!

still not pretty... but it certainly looks ominous !
I wouldn't say no if one landed on my front doorstep, but I'd definitely lower it an inch or two before taking to the streets.

That's even uglier that the stock version. I'm sure it handles and has oodles of power. It's still a truck, not a sportscar, why pretend.Stef |

700HP? Who cares what it looks like, you can't see the outside anyway when you're on the track, putting 911s in there place.

Wow, I never thought I would see a Porsche which looked so much like a PT Cruiser, which has to be the second most ugly vehicle out there after the Honduh Element (and its clones). The Cayenne styling never really did it for me originally, but Gemballa seems to have taken the looks down by several notches.

I doubt Ruf will make one. He's been quoted as saying that Porsche should stick to sports cars. Then again money talks...

I think if Ruf or even Tech-Art gave the Cayenne a chance, they could turn it into an excellent SUV in looks and power.
