Need Input on PCA!
Need Your Input on PCA national and local chapters. I was wondering what your impression was on PCA in general and your local chapter in particular?
Do any of you get involved in the events? What do you think of PANORAMA? How about your chapter’s monthly mag? What would you like to see PCA national and regional chapters change?

I belong to the national. I do not belong (by choice) to the local, although I am rethinking it. I have asked for help, invited guys over and one showed up a week later than promised, stayed for about five minutes, said he would come over that Saturday to give me a hand and that was three months ago. Had a similar experience in upstate NY before I moved to AZ. Must be me. I like the Pano mag, although most of the vehicles are far beyond my pocketbook. Excellence is, in my opinion, the better of the two. What I do find interesting is the "purists" that post on various BBs here and contrast that with the mods described in the mags. Apparently, there are those out there like myself that think they can experiment and within limits "improve the breed".

I belong to NNJR region of PCA and of course the national membership. It's quite active in the NE USA. Guys are very informed and enthusiastic. Lots of DE and track events as well as XCrosses. Local shops will work with you for business. Most people are friendly and will help if asked.
Pano is OK but Excellence and 911 World are better pubs (but since it's part of membership fee has good ads cars FS etc, parts listings, etc.) |

But I think Cayenne members are welcomed depending on regional flavors and prejudice like all parts of the country.
