Clear markers install

I thought I should post some stuff here as it's sooo quiet in the forum.

I ordered the clear side markers from Gert and after reading some install pointers on Renntech I thought I throw them on. Two screws hold them in and you can unscrew a few (4 or 5) hex (Torx T25) screws holding the inner fender liner in and pull it out enough to get at the light. The top torx holding the light is very tough to get a, I would recommend buying a flexible screw driver insert before starting if you don't already have one.
Once the light is out I used a flat blade screw driver to pop the bulb holder and and the light just pulls straight out. Push the new orange bulb in the socket and push the bulb holder on the new clear maker and out it back in place. Two screw (top and bottom) to mount it, then push the inner liner back in place and screw it back in.

Looks awesome!!! Nice work! That top screw is a pain in the a$$ isn't it. I tried to do mine without removing the fender liner and tore up my forearms pretty good. Took it out for the opposite side and went smooth as butter.
So what's next???

Yes, and I bought my flexible screw driver after this... :D

What's next...hmmm funny you should ask, I would like a better sounding exhaust, but the prices are stupid. I did notice how crappy the factory tips look compared to others, but those thing are like $600.00 FOR EXHAUST TIPS! - Crazy...

I don't want to do too many mods, I am concerned about voiding the warranty. But some personalization is OK ;)

I have been talking with Vizualogic about their headrest DVD system, looks awesome, but all in (here) would be about $2400.00 (Darn kids :D ). We'll see.

Keep the forum active...

I would like to be able to plug my ipod into my 2004 but all of the solutions seem a little kluggy.
I did the fabspeed bypass pipes for the second set of cats. I know you said you think it may lose you horsepower, but if you ever hear them you would live with the .1% decrease until you can get the muffler and chip to match.
I would like to do my exhaust too, but the amount of money you talked about, I agree is crazy. There was a guy at a Driver's Ed recently that has a Cayenne with bypass pipes and two little Audi resonators in place of the stock muffler... wow, that sounded cool. If only I had a pipe bender :)
