I'm looking to buy a second set of wheels for winter, and trying to decide on OE 18's or 19's. --I now have 19" wheels and can see the merit of having spares of that style. But, the 18" size gives more tire choices .... taller, and skinnier.
Thoughts?

Snow Tires
I have a set of the Pirelli Scorpians on my Cayenne Turbo and my wife's Cayenne S 255/50-19s and they are really good. I weaved my way around about 6 other SUV's that had spun out on a very steep paved road (15%+ grade).

Thanks. I just picked up some Pirelli Scorpians and 18" wheels. --I figure the 18's, and taller tires, will be better for rolling over snow-buried rocks and pot-holes.
