Towing???

anyone have any experience towing with a cayenne. I am looking at a few good deals but...I still have to tow my 911 around the country wherever the Army sends me.

Towing shouldn't be an issue. Lots of torque for that. My '98 4Runner pulled my 930 from MI to VA so I'm sure the Cayenne S could do it with no problem. On the other hand, invest in another screw-in tow eye to have around. The factory only supplies one so if you need a tow it's offset and a pain. Have two so they can pull it straight ahead...

I tow my 911 track toy all the time with my v8 touareg. I continue to be impressed with it's capabilities. My previous tow vehicle was a chevy avalanche. in my opinion the touareg (cayenne wanna be) is a better tow vehicle.

tows great. brakes are fantastic. plenty of power. only a couple of minor issues. i have an enclosed trailer and the cayenne wasnt wide enought to see around the trailer. Also a bit of buffeting from trucks on the highway would wiggle the rig a bit as I passed them. All in all it towed nice. Most of the time I forgot I had a trailer behind me. You would never know it by the way it drove.
