Coming off warranty

So I'm going to be naked next month and I wanted to post a few points here. I've already got mu Cat bypass pipes and EVO intakes ready to go and am saving my money for a ECU upgrade

But, I was wondering if there is anything I should do ask of the dealer for the prep of coming off warranty. I would love to ask Porsche to pickup some of the cost of the Coolant tube replacement before they go but I'm sure I already know the answer; I can try though right since it is a well known flaw...

I was wondering if the dealership would do a detailed inspection of everything while still on warranty and replace/fix anything that needs to be done prior to going off?

What do you guys think.

Cheers,

Bob James

Yes they will, or at least they should. It's still money for them. I have seen good customers bring cars in with that request.

Take your car into the dealer and tell them you had a low coolant light and you smell coolant from time to time. This should trigger them to do the pipes under warranty

SO I called Porsche, they said they would not help unless it's a diagnosed issue. I explained that it should be a recall, to no avail.

Now I'm off warranty and as soon as the weather gets nice THE MODS BEGIN!
