2011 vs earlier generations
We I searched, but no luck. Anyone have any driving experience with the 2011 Cayennes vs an older model? If you were in the market, would you spring for the new body / interior or? thanks.

I had my 04 in for service recently and was given a new model as a loaner had it for almost 2 months to be honest I was not that impressed with it Maybe I am just used to mine but the ride seems much stiffer and not as comfortable. Engine was powerful but did not seem much more so than others i have driven. There is so many different electronics inside of the new one that something is bound to go wrong if it is still under warrenty that is fine but if not the expense of fixing a problem with the electronics would probobly be insane. All of that said the interior design is very nice the outside is similar to some of the other SUVs on the market but I guess if you have the money and don't mind spending it you can buy a new one but if the prestige of owning the newest model is not important I would go for a well sorted pre owned with a warrenty you can pick one up for a great price I have had mine for almost 3 years and I love it only cost me $20k worth every penny.
