Anyone ever hear of the sun roof glass breaking on its own... without the help of meteorites or golf balls ?

It should be safety glass.

Unless it had been scratched it should not shatter.

As it's on top of the car pretty hard to scratch.

Got kids of driving /partying age that have access to the car (Either driving it, or otherwise.... Hey babe my dad has a Porsche.. let's "do it" on top of the car... Don't laugh that kind of stuff happens.)

PS: You mention golf balls-- those would do a number on a sunroof panel... You near a golf course?

Does panel show impact mark?
