Cayenne Brake Job, which decals?
I had the pleasure of doing a full brake job on my Cayenne this past weekend.
I looked over the DIY on rennlist and figured it was easy enough...New Rotors, Pads, Hardware, Sensors, Racing Blue Fluid, and a repaint of all the calipers. Now, what decals should I put on the calipers. "Porsche" or "Brembo". personally I am leaning towards "Brembo". If any of you guys have done this, where did you get the decals, and what sizes were they? http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1344239364.jpghttp://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1344239464.jpg |
Nice job painting the calipers! Are they Brembos? Either way I would put Porsche decals on them.

they are brembo brakes, all around.

I put the Porsche decals on mine I think they look better with that on there. I got them on ebay they are made of vinyl and were just a few bucks for six of them.
|
you did black or white? on what color calipers?
|
Mine are from the factory, red with "Porsche" on them. Is this a turbo thing? I thought all Cayennes had them painted?
|
Mine were painted with "porsche" as well. I re-painted the calipers red and clear coated them before I saw they have templates you can buy to repaint "porsche" back on there.
As I was searching online, I noticed some people have "brembo" on the caliper instead of "porsche" and thought it looked pretty neat. I went ahead and bought the "brembo" hi temp decals. I'll post pictures as soon as I get them on. |
