Looking to purchase /06 S..maybe?

Hello.
I have been a Porsche owner for over 15 years.
I am considering a Cayenne S..A red one with black -Tech Art wheels.
Never thought I'd ever get an SUV but for the winter this could be choice! ?

The dealer is asking $24K with 67K miles on it.
Nice all around.
Unfortunately it is in Quebec and I am waaay on the other-side.
I would have to purchase by pics.-many- and maintenance records and at least a 1 month warranty to close the deal.
I really like the looks of this vehicle.

What are the anomilies and dogs to look out for and to ask the dealer if the vehicle is
what it ought to be..?
Thanks.

Do a carproof and a carfax. Have a PPI done. Is it private or a dealer? For some reason most cayennes from quebec have about the same odometer reading. hmm Do a search. I was looking at a 04 turbo from ontario. Turns out it was from quebec and odometer conflicts showed up on the carfax/carproof.

one bit of advice. Having lived in quebec i know that the winters are bad and roads are poor thus even recent cars start to have rust issues. I had to fix my suspension 2 times in 3 years ( ok it was a pt cruiser but still)Besides the suspension, look to see if the car had a rust proof treatment done that when the car was new.IF this was not done when the car was new but later ( ex a year later) its possible that the rust treatmentcoating actually seals small rust particles between the body and the treatment leading to corrosion. 90% of the cars in quebec have this treatment .I know this sounds crazy but I have seen it!

No.
I believe the dealer became disinterested when he knew I wasn't coming down myself to pick-up and I'd rather have him truck it.

He stopped returning emails and phone calls.

Too bad for me.
This vehicle, I thought to myself ,seemed exciting to own.
Never thought I'd get emotional over an SUV.

Still looking.
