Where are the Cayenne lovers on Pelican??

I have noticed that this awesome site does not give much of a spot light on the Cayenne.
Granted some may think that a "real' Porsche should only have 2 doors or must be air cooled or have the engine in the rear.... but a Cayenne is built by Porsche and I think it should be treated as one.
So I hope to add some discussion on this thread and open things up!
Anyone feel the same way that the Cayenne doesn't get enough credit?

I agree...but it is just a lot more reliable than some...and not so many do-it-yourselfers. Not so much to talk about.

I think that with the price of the first generation coming down that there will be an increase in forum traffic for the cayenne. The DIY enthusiast is finding out that the CTT is a great deal in todays market. It is pretty busy over on rennlist.

I guess I should add I am one of those newbys and just bought a 05 CTT. A good friend just bought one as well.

I figured that out a few years ago;)

Love my CTT but don't seem to drive or mod it much! (Well, it's chipped, apr R1 bpvs, CTTS control arms, several sets of wheels, blacked out headlight housings, and some other stuff, but compared to my other cars its very lightly modded;))

It has jut kinda become the winter car. SmileWavy

I do all my own work on it! But it simply doesn't need much.

It was the tow rig and utility vehicle till I picked up an old Dodge 2500 to get dirty. So now the CTT doesn't see much work. (Though, I'm about to put a trailer brake controller in it so I can go fetch a car on the east coast since the CTT will be more comfortable than the Dodge to tow that far with)
