TPMS Sensors
Hi Gang,
After 8 years and 36,000 miles (yea the car is a Garage Queen along with my 911) my Tire Pressue Monoritoring System Sensors have gone bad. I had America's Tires verify with their tool that the sensors are not transmitting (batteries dead) The dealer wants $1,400 for installation of OEM sensors. (Dealer quoted me $800 just for the sensors) Our host sells the OEM parts for about $165 each. There are aftermarket sensors on Ebay for $10 each America's Tires said they could install the sensors for ~10 each. My choices; Dealer $1,400 Pelican OEM sensors installed at America's Tires $700 Ebay Aftermarket sensors installed at America's Tires $80 Has anyone else been in this boat? How did you resolve it? Thanks

I would say go for the Ebay afrermarket at 80 as the others seems crazy. What did you finally do? I am not even sure my TPMS works as I had 30 PSI in all tires and no warning lights. To be honest I don`t really care as I just check once a month now...
