tire recommandations for my S?

Hi All,
I looks like I might need tires on my Pepper S. I currently run with 255 55r 19 bridgestone dualers.

I am considering the same ( $900 for all 4) OR I could get Pirelli Scorpions or Dunlop Sp`s for around the same price.
I have also heard good things about Continentals but they are a bit more expensive ..
Thoughts?
thanks
Richard

I put Conti DWS on the CTT. They were great up until it got really icy up here in Edmonton. Pretty quiet on the highway. 540 treadwear vs 240 on the Michelins that came off. Don't have any love for Pirelli's. Never last long enough.

We have the Conti Extreme DWS 275 and 255's on our 2004T and 2006S this year and we will see how they perform. They are quiet. I had the Bridgestone LM50's on the T last year and they were really good but they are noisy. They wear really good and have good traction although I wasn't on much ice as above. The Scorpians were OK but they have a very short life. My commute is rather curvy and tire life has always been short for any tire on any vehicle. The LM50's still have about 40% tread and I'll probably put them back on around Christmas. I do drive fairly hard and $900 is a good price but I haven't had a good experience with the dualers.

I had the Pirellis (20 inch) on my 2008 Cayenne. Very strong and sticky, but lasted only about 25,000 miles.

Went with another brand now because they now cost about $425.00 each (I got them for $255.00 each in 2009).

Yokohama Parada

I put the 20 in Yokohama Parada tires on my 04 Cayenne Turbo. They seem great all around and not too expensive....and I don't have to switch in the winter.

I put Good-Year Fortera Triple Tread Technology (All Weather) on my S.
They have a 9 and/or 10 rating for dry pavement, rain, snow and mud.
The tread looks a touch more off roadish and they turned my S into a Rally SUV.
No kidding they are awesome tires and cheap. In the snow it was so controllable
and in the mud excellent. rain excellent, bought them at Sears like $200 per 19" wheel.
You can see my rear tire in the photo in my garage.
