No signs of wear.

I bought my '04 S used from a neighbor in '06 with 23 k miles, now it has 77k miles and even the seats show no wear. I do a lot of short trips sp that is saying something. I tow a 2200 lb. dump trailer with it, a few times the 7800 lb Chaparral as well. The drive train has 0 slop i can detect. Kids in and out of it, dogs..
The early Cayennes are heavy but real tough trucks.

Maybe it's a "turbo thing" but I just had my lower control arms replaced because the rubber bushings were shot.

At how many miles?

I've replace my control arms once in 109k. Bushings are a wear item in my mind and the Turbo S arms were pretty cheap.

45k Was what we crossed recently. Thankfully we're under warranty still.

It's all how you drive fellas. I drive it with care, start slow/stop slow.
it's as tight as the day i got it.
If someone slams one of my doors they hear about it.

My story is similar...bought my '04 Turbo with about 50K on it. Now it is closing in on 100K. maybe all the common problems happened to the first owner. It is my daily driver. I drive it like a maniac, but it is like a new car. Obviously it has to be maintained/serviced...I put a battery in it last summer and just had the brakes done by a local independent. Hard to believe it is almost 10 years old.

People who start and stop fast and hard all the time wear their control arms out.
I have fun once the momentum is already there. I brake slow and easy because i do my brake jobs and don't enjoy the added work.
You can get pads at Autozone for your S Brembos too guys, 1/4 of the price and I can't tell the difference.
