Suspension level sensor
My 04 Cayenne S had its left suspension damaged, including the level sensor. The 6 pin connector was lost. I'm replacing the sensor but now I need a wiring diagram that shows which pins connect to the 3 color coded wires in the harness (green/purple; blue/red; green/black). The 6 pin connector only utilizes 4 pins #'s 1,4,5,6. Anyone have that diagram?.http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1382294304.jpg

I found a service manual on e-nay that had a wiring diagram for the air suspension. Perfect. I also learned how to swap pins in and out of the 6 pin connectors. I just might take a few pics and post this as a tech tip. Pretty cool and easy. Now the S is riding level, and has passed emissions. Next is removing the blown side curtain airbags, the locked up seat belts and painting the drivers side and rear bumper cover.http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1382559686.jpg

Marko, where did you purchased your self leveling harness end connector, the one that fits into the ride height sensor itself (that you mentioned you had to repair)? And do you have a part number.
Mine is cracked, on of the press clips on one side that holds it in place. Also, you mentioned replacing the harness end connector and pins, did you every do a tutorial on how to do this? Since if I get a new connector I need to remove the old one and replace it with the new one, without splicing it in. Thanks |
