stuck ash tray
Anyone know how to open the ashtray? Mine is stuck in the closed position. It's a 09.thanks.

LOL, i was hoping someone would post schematics on the latching mechanism so I know where the frick to try to jimmy it loose. Where am i going to put the ashes to the cubans?

you have to take the column apart. I had mine stuck so I just left it and traded it in full of change; bonus for whomever gets it open

Usually that happens because loose change gets stuck behind ash tray. You have to remove trim from around the radio then remove the A/C controll head. Then there are two T20 Torx holding your ash tray in. Remove bolts then pull out ash tray. Disconnect the cig. lighter connector in rear . Now you just have to shack ash tray untill it gets unstuck. Reinstall
