valve train tick??

ok first off i have searched and also looked back thru every thread title in this section until the start dates were 2006. have found nothing.

i have a 2008 cayenne turbo that has developed a "tick" on what seems to be the drivers side toward the top of the motor. all coil packs and plugs were replaced 100 recently from a #2 misfire. i replaced all for good measure. the tick was present before and still is. vehicle seems to run perfect under all conditions idle, cruise and WOT.

ANY SUGGESTIONS??
