Oil Change Service Light
I am a do it yourself owner of a 2012 Cayenne with the 3.6L V6. Question is how to shut off the Oil Service light after changing my oil & filter? Of coarse, the owners manual has no reference to such information..... only that oil change should be done by an authorized Porsche service. ;)
I also plan to rotate the tires, so how to change the tire pressure monitoring locations? Any help or info would be appreciated. |
For the oil service light you need to purchase one of the Durametric tools. I have the one that's around $300. It works for me. I don't know about the TPMS.

No need to change locations of the tpms. I have a second set of wheels and tires (winter set) and they have the stock Porsche tpms sensors in as well. When I switch them you just go into the display and it will ask what size tires, (winter, summer, all season) check what you have and drive for 5 minutes. The system will automatically register the sensors and start working. Sam thing if you are rotating. It will ask did you change tires, do the same procedure.
