Just joined the club! Hybrid

Just brought home my first cayenne! Preowned 2012 hybrid. I'm going to take it for a spirited long drive tomorrow

Congrats, looking great. I will be bringing my first Cayenne home soon too, a 2008 base I put a deposit on. I also lived in Albuquerque for 2 years and loved it!

Drove to Santa Fe and back today- wow! I've owned a Ford Explorer and Audi Q7 but there is really no comparison. It drives like a car and not SUV. The throttle is extremely responsive and it stops on a dime.
This is my first hybrid so I'm still getting used to electric mode. It starts in electric and the engine shuts off when I stop. I haven't tried the electric setting yet. Not have I taken it off-road. That will be another day

Sweet Ride! Congrats!!!

Next get those nice 911's running and you can tow them around with the Cayenne, I do this with mine.

I like the way you think! My cayenne didn't come with the tow package so this forum will be very helpful for that future project.

Got the cayenne off the pavement. The good folks at Porsche really have made a great SUV. I've been in a lot of off road vehicles. At one end of the spectrum was the series II landrover my son had-- at the other is this cayenne. It is powerful, responsive and a blast to drive. Happy new owner

I took mine on a hunting trip last year that put my Cayenne to the challenge and test for sure. I went up steep dirt roads and down then as well. Made my own roads for a while as well which was interesting. My car did well crossing a river as well, not too deep but just below the door jam, this was fun.

Sadly, it did get scratched up somewhat, black is pretty unforgiving. I managed to have my detailer clean most of it up. Although is was a fun trip, I ended up buying a 56 M38 Jeep to do this kind of activity as a result, now I just tow with the Cayenne S.

The looks I received from other jeep hunters was delightful, everyone wondered how I made it up the hill to those hard to get areas, I told them it was easy.
