Rear wheel bearings?

My Cayenne is at the dealer getting new rear wheel bearings.
It sounded like it was an intermediate bearing on the prop shaft, but I just had that done in June
Anyone else going through driveline woes?
(The unit sees a lot of towing duty with my open steel trailer and '85 track car.)
2005 Cayenne, V6, 83,000.

I wonder if the V6 has lighter duty bearings that the V8? Can't imagine that it would.
