I still think it will sell. But don't think that makes me happy! |
And you're POSITIVE that's not a Hyundai or Kia huh?
Looks Korean to me, not that there's anything wrong with that........ |
I recall a recent post comparing the Cayenne unfavorably with a Maseratti in the area of offroad capability. The Maseratti also had something near 500 horsepower, but a significantly higher ground clearance. I suspect the Maseratti would kick it's ass in offroad testing, but I don't care and here's why.
To me, the proper testing ground for a tow vehicle is not an offroad course. Nurburgring is the proper test course. The test should be conducted in the hottest part of summer, and the car and trailer should weigh a combined 3500 lbs. Nevertheless, I do expect the Cayenne to make the trip from France to Egypt. Wearing a number. |

The world's first review, in the recent Car magazine (you all read Car, right? Right? Finest car rag in the worl, me thinks) actually spoke very nicely of the off-road capabilities, saying something to the effect that it put the Range Rover in its place. Apart from that, I wouldn't suspect that they're going to race the thing. Probably far too complex with massive expense. |
