Hurry up guys...your chance to buy a chance to buy a Cayenne. Unbelieveable!

What is this world coming to?

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=6058&item=1875754108

From ebay ad: "This auction is to buy my rights to purchase the new Porsche Cayenne SUV from a Porsche dealership. I have had a deposit to purchase the Porsche Cayenne SUV since March 2001 at a Porsche dealership in the midwest. Be one of the first people to own the vehicle expected to arrive spring of 2003. You can still choose options and model: "S" or "Turbo" through dealership. Dealer waiting lists already have hundreds of names, be one of the top ten. This is a legally binding purchase for a guaranteed position when the vehicle first becomes available for sale. All promotional literature included."

People were paying $5000 to get someone elses spot on the dealers waiting list for the new BMW M3 about a year ago. Those auctions were all over ebay and they were hitting the reserves. Crazy. After you spent the $5k then you got to pay the dealer $10k OVER sticker for one of the M3's....

yeah and playstation 2 was going for 1200 bucks on ebay the day they came out.

some people have to be the first on their block with the new toy. You should see the discussions on the impreza board about the new STi.

See "Subaru STi truth"
