I'm thinking

about buying a used Cayenne. Seeing quite a few under $10K with under 100K on the clock. What are the good the bad and the ugly of these cars?

I'm sure that other members will chime in - most importantly, as I'm sure you know is to get a proper PPI report from a Porsche mechanic. Which years are you looking at? From what I remember, there were several years where there were plastic coolant pipes that cracked and caused headaches - this was a factory recall and they were replaced by a metal piece by the dealer free of charge...make sure this was done.

Love mine...

I never thought I'd own an SUV. One drive and I was sold.

It was a low-mile CA owned one. Only 62K miles when bought in 2014.
Depreciation is a harsh mistress on these. I bought it for 22% of Sticker MSRP only 8 years after original sale. It has now dropped to about $110,000 less in value since new.

However, there is simply nothing else that offers:
520 AWD HP
530 FT.Lbs torque
seating for 5
Air suspension
Electronic locking differentials
Traction Safety systems/ABS/Airbags
Navigation
Satellite Radio
Full leather dash and seats with Alcantra Headliner
0-60 in under 5 seconds (at this altitude)
Towing capacity of 7,716 lbs

... at it's current price point.

And it's one of 600 in the US.
