Just had my 2014 done by Porsche, fairly extensive fix, catalytic converters, exhaust pipe, o2 sensor, def related equipment, glow plug software of course, free tank of diesel, plus more that I can’t remember but it took most of the day. Lost about 1mpg, power seems about the same, but 33-34 mpg highway still isn’t that bad, neither is $10k from Volkswagen and Bosch, first time a Porsche paid me back!

Interesting reading, I really haven’t noticed a major difference and with the almost new car warranty for power train, I wouldn’t hesitate to get it done. For me it’s not a track car, I have my play Porsche’s for that, mostly for long drives and some ‘round town stuff
