'09 S oil pressure switch

I think my oil pressure sender/switch may be on its way out. Twice I have gotten a fault on the dash that it can not measure oil pressure. The fault cleared almost immediately both times. I do not see a tech article that covers this topic. Can someone point me in the right direction?
