Cayenne reset oil indicator

I just changed the oil in my 2017 Cayenne and found out that to reset the oil indicator requires a computer device. I've heard Durametric,POR II, and Icarscan are several devices that can reset the computer. Does anyone have any recommendations of which device is the best and worth the money. Thx
Alan

Hi Alan - other members will likely chime in with their experience and expertise; we recommend the Schwaben tool for Porsche. It's a great scanner that will allow you to monitor your car's settings in real time and will also allow you to adjust and reset settings (codes) as well. I've included the link below, please let us know if you have any questions!

Schwaben Porsche Tool

Durametric is my choice. Been using one on our 2008 Cayenne S and it works great. Requires a laptop with a USB port, so not as convenient as a plug-in unit, but it can do just about anything the Porsche Dealer tools can do as far as diagnostics.

I use a Durametric (enthusiast version) as well. Works well. Never tried the Schwaben.

Is the Schwaben Pro Scan Tool for Porsche compatible with a 2012 Cayenne Turbo?

Yes, it'll work with that platform.

Hi, I ordered the tool and now have it however I am unable to use the hatch lid calibration as the screen with the directions will not scroll down past the word close. I am attempting to see if the Foxwell site has an update but when you attempt to register, the website hangs. This is very frustrating.

I just purchased a 2014 Cayenne Diesel and need to obtain a tool to do oil change resets. I'd also like this tool to accommodate any future brake service that may be required. I'm not really sure what functions are required on the Cayenne Diesel, but I seem to recall reading that certain cars require the ABS to be operated to achieve an acceptable bleed. Does this tool perform whatever functions may be required to service the brakes?
