959 Paris Dakar RC Car
This is a new in box 1/12th size 959 RC car rally version produced by Tamiya in the 80s. To the RC guys I think this thing is pretty desirable. It’s 4wd and pretty complex…not an easy thing to put together. All the parts are there in unopened bags. I’ve worked on a few 959s and feel more comfortable working on the full scale version haha. I’m going to list it here a lot cheaper than you can just buy on eBay for and hopefully it finds a good Porsche home.
$2,300 obo plus shipping ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

Bump for a great RC car.
I have the pieces of mine someplace. Great kit and I had fun building it 30 years ago. The motor is very powerful. Unfortunately on my inaugural run I found out how quick these are and planted it into a curb. Amazing the damage done. If you build this be sure to give yourself lots of open space to drive it. GL

Wow GL thanks for sharing. The motor does look powerful. It’s amazing how intricate this kit is!
If anyone is interested I’ll make you a deal, I don’t have time to build this thing!
