FS: Porsche Sound History Vinyl Record
 

For sale is this Porsche Sound History promotional record that documents the Porsche street and race cars from 1948 through 1982. The cover describes interviews with both Ferdinand and Dr. Ferry Porsche, and specifications and sounds from each car from the beginning of production until when the record was released in 1983. This was sold only through Porsche dealers. The cover shows some minor wear, and the record appears to be in very good condition.

As you probably know, these albums are pretty rare. I recall selling a few of them (maybe a dozen or so) years ago, when they were new. Can't recall where I got them, but it was probably from Porsche Cars North America, possibly through my friends in the parts department at Hagestad Porsche+Audi in Lakewood, Colorado, where I lived then. I still have one and fire up the turntable once in a while, just to frighten the neighbors. Good luck with the sale.
