Hella H4 Euro versions available?

Did Hella make European H4 for Porsche 911SC?

I see these on eBay - https://www.ebay.com/itm/NEW-Porsche-911-912-Hella-H4-European-Headlight-Assembly-with-bulbs/173326107876?hash=item285b0a84e4:g:j5EAAOSwYgFaqux d

Reading through his ad sounds good but some things don't add up.

1 - I don't see Hella H4's for Porsche being sold elsewhere (even a search on Pelican shows little on Hella headlights - some sealed but no Euro)
2 - Shows Czech Republic on manufacturer sticker
3. Part number #1A800114901 on sticker has no reference
4. States 40/45W on sticker - but bulbs are 75W ?
5. No "H4" marking on lens - but looks to have Hella logo on lens
6. Hella site - doesn't list headlights - only bulbs for 1981 Porsche 911SC

I found an INTERCHANGE part number when I referenced for a BOSCH 0 301 800 101 and it was 1A8 354 239-011 - but found no info on that Hella # anywhere either..

So I probably would not purchase - but since I am learning about the Euro H4's - anyone using Hella brand H4 euros - is there such a thing? Or are these knockoffs or some sort of cheaper alternatives? (I also see Magnetti Mirelli branded H4's..)

Not with the Bosch H4 style oval lens, I run a set of Hella H4 that fit in place of sealed beam units when used with the sugar scoop trim. They are marked H4 in the middle of the round lens.

believe those were used/spec'ed on early short wheelbase cars? In the US, they had clear lenses and ran sealed beam inserts. Note that price is for each -- Personally, I'd go with the later style bosh h4s for part (lens, etc.) availability.

So, what these are....

Sierra Madre has been selling (and occasionally having a "sale") on Euro Hella 356 headlights. The price isn't too bad when on sale. Then you buy a URO brand 911 trim ring and swap the trim ring with the 356 trim ring. Voila! The headlight assembly you are looking at.

Well these are pretty much aimed at the 65-67 market as the glass is "sloped" without the flat shelf at the top of the glass, though they do look good on the later cars as well as it's a nice look on the fender lines when looking at the car in profile.

You could swap the sloped lens for a Bosch H4 and it would be more correct as an H4 look, but that gets a bit more expensive.

Note that the URO trim ring is stamped steel and then chrome plated, and the real Bosch H4 trim ring is either brass or stainless and then chrome plated. Also the URO trim ring comes with flat head screws not oval (dome) head.
