I have an 86 915 (type 915/73 74G) transaxle that I bought for a possible project a year ago, that I am now pondering selling and need some input on.
This is an aluminum case, last year 915 without LSD or cooler. I bought it from a local enthusiast/collector. The minimal history I have is that it was from a pretty low mileage car and worked fine. In terms of condition, it looks clean/good externally. It is what I would consider very lightly, "authentically" dirty for a supposed low mileage trans that doesn't appear to have ever had a major external cleanup. Otherwise, there is not much I can discern externally. Things move like they should. I need some input on a good sales price. Thanks in advance.
