Porsche banjo type steering wheel

So I was at this guys house buying a few vinatge Ducati's the other day and he had this wheel on his wall. He said he wants 1k for it. I thought it would look cool in the man cave. Any idea of what it's worth and what it came off of?

356. Not sure of current market but $1k would not surprise me one bit.

It’s in the style of a pre-A wheel. Not sure it was current when they settled on the emblem. Repros are common. I’d appeal to the 356 Registry community before considering purchase.
