Valuation needed 77s wide body fresh from paint and body

Well its my turn to get the braintrusts thoughts on my unfinished project. I am unloading my toys due to a move and I unfortunately got this back from paint a lot later than anticipated so it isn't in a completed state. I still have the option to park this but it will be out of state and I know I will not get it done - however still an option.

Onto the car -
1977 911s sunroof car with metal turbo flares
3.0 CIS out of an 83 SC - no paperwork unknown mileage
915 Transmission

Zero leaks, smoke etc. starts right up first try no problem.

I completely stripped the car to bare metal and blasted the body and this is a zero rust car.

Full repaint in Riviera Blue
Fiberglass Iroc Style front bumper
Fiberglass Hood
Fiberglass Ducktail
Sierra Madre Hood gas fill
All AC components removed
Freshly refinished gauges
Freshly rewrapped door cards, dash and knee bolsters in black alcantara
New RS door pulls and handles
New BF Torino Seats with Houndstooth Centers
Wevo shifter
App Biz RS carpet kit
Roll Bar
New headliner
OEM rubber seals throughout most of the car
935 style mirrors
Flat6 Innovations Headlights

Needs a few odds and ends to be finished but most of it is there - most of it is interior work and I am hoping I get a lot of it done in the coming weekends. The hood is off as it seems to be a bad latch.

Currently is sitting on a set of roller Fuchs that were used for paint.

Let me know your thoughts.
Thanks

What kind of move? Overseas?

So much work done. Color is awesome.

Problem is, it's hard to value because it's just parts and non-matching at that.

You are going to take the hit for sure which really stinks. 20K for the roller? 8K for the engine? 3K for the trans? Seats and interior - $2500? It's all going to add up to more if you sell the parts for $35K than get $28K for the package.

Worth a ton more completed for sure.

The body treatment is perfect for the period and similar to my old 3L hotrod. Weight saving in the right places (bumpers) so it will change direction crisply. Finished it will come in around 2500# so give it 300 or so hp and it will be fantastic. I’d love to gather it up and let Gamroth build it.

Great looking build and so close to being ready. I think you have two options:
  • Install carpet kit and door cards, get it running. Sell for $35k or so
  • Sell engine/tranny for $12k and near-complete roller as is for $20k.

May be worth the time and effort to fully complete (and get mechanicals verified as good order, tuned, etc) considering I bet you'd clear mid $40's at that point.....possibly higher if crazy money materializes.

It's sweet.

I know how it is with these things - so close, but so far.

Really stinks you cannot finish it. It's going to be a killer ride.
