what are these seats worth? Recaro SRD

Hey guys i just bought a 91 C2 and it has Recaro seats in it with a harness and all that, but i want to make this car my DD for a while, so will be looking for some normal seats and seat belts.

Any idea what the seats in the car now are worth as i will be selling them? they are in excellent condition and recline and have the rails etc..Whats a reasonable price i should ask to sell them fast?

RECARO SRD

i found this thread, wondering if this makes sense? $1800 each?? hmmm sounds like a lot

https://forums.pelicanparts.com/off-topic-discussions/1003553-what-these-recaro-srd-seats-worth.html
Thanks

$800 for the pair is what they're worth.

Depending on your location, I'd be interested at $800 for the pair. I would need them shipped to Ohio

After having these for a few days, i actually really like them-the are very comfortable, i wish they were in leather, would be possible to recover? but would then lose the recaro logo i'm sure

Those look like the seats I have in my SC. The back adjusts, right?

Pretty comfy. I've driven hours in them and never felt uncomfortable. I have a feeling they're pretty heavy, however, but I've never had them out of the car.

$800 sounds cheap.

yes after using them for a few days, i definitely won't be selling them for $800, these are great seats. If i can get them reupholstered in leather i'll just keep them, way better than sports seats

Seems like the going price is $525 a pair.
The Ebay link I posted has many sellers for Recaro SRD seats around $500/pair

For example...

These look like cheap cloth, maybe diff than the material on mine l used in race seats, or maybe its the same, who knows- anyways surely i would never sell these for $500 a pair & doubt that ebay ad is for quality ones, def something seems off

There is a huge counterfeit market for this seats.

Ask the Honda crowd

800 is cheap for really good ones.

800 is right for well worn ones

X2 on the knock-off fabric being cheap.
The correct Recaro Nardo is tough and costs around $130.00 yd. I paid about $500.00 in materials and labor to get one seat changed from blue to black Nardo.

I have these same seats in my 911. They are very comfortable and in my opinion more comfortable than stock Porsche seats. The bolsters hold you in place and the fabric is less slippery than leather.

I would keep these seats. I think you will learn to really like them. I do!
