964 C4 Manual Trans Value.

Hello, I have a 964 C4 trans (sorry thought it was G50 didn't know C4 had diff trans G64) , The client i got it from bought it 2 years ago from LA dismantlers for his 89 C4 as an extra trans but never used it in the rebuild - The trans "supposably all works" but no way to confirm- Its missing 4th to 5th synchro - Again there is no way for me to confirm any of this so i'm assuming it needs to be sold a bit cheaper than normal.

Would appreciate any input on value.

Thanks

I’ve seen them sell around $5,000 at least, I think you can get that.

That's not a g50. That's a g64/00 and maybe worth $2500 as a buildable core. Not good to anyone except for a 964 C4 owner. Shares nothing much with a g50.

Where do you see them for $5,000? I'm sure this thing isn't worth $5000.

Thanks Matt, shows how much i know lol. I thought all 964 were G50 trans. I guess if i can get 2k out of it i'd be ok. So are C2 all G50 and the C4 is the G64?

Thanks again for the info.

That's correct.
