Shop Recommendations: 915 Rebuild
Where is the best place to have a 915 trans out of a 74 rebuilt in the greater Philadelphia area? Will likely upgrade to a 8:31 ring and pinion as it is mated to a 3.2 instead of a 2.7

Peter Dawes @ Dawes Motorsports. It's a couple hours north of Philly, but he's that good.

If you can get it down to Northern VA, Erik Wills is highly recommended. I literally have never heard a complaint, and I've heard lots and lots of compliments on his work.

Peter and Paul at Performance Automotive in Malvern (610 742 3386). They rebuilt my buddies 915; did an excellent job.
They also service and did all updates on my Carrera.... highly recommend. |
