I love it. I wonder if i could find somewhere to hide it. I'd love to see it wearing fuchs and the IB's.
It's a very cool picture, stance is like Goldilocks porridge.

Love as is..... would stick in a 3.8 RS motor to up its game a bit on the power side.....

msort81 11-10-2018 03:54 AM

Don't get me wrong, I too love it as is, i just want to be able to swap between the two.

I think it's awesome. I like the Rufs on it - it still looks bada$$

Macroni 11-10-2018 05:10 AM

Wish I needed a car.

Here are all the details from the BaT auction...

So it says sold on BAT. Did it sell or not?

Who ever got it for $55,500 should go and buy lottery tickets.

The comments on BAT by the seller indicated the buyer backed out of the deal. I am assuming the original seller is trying to sell it still.

Buyer flaked on purchase.....

This car definitely has issues that point to the need for a complete investigation.

Color change (incomplete w/ Orange peel), Bumper change (Fit), drive train change..... exported... imported..... lots to check..... big plus its a M491..... oh better check that too......

BaT sh|t crazy prices is turning into BaT sh|t shady auctions...

I had a forensic team come out Macroni, they've completed a thorough investigation. Found that the car is exactly as stated and is a real m491. You can sleep again at night.

I have the original Fuchs for it, if you want those instead ;-)

Amg what was the original color? Just curious

amg463 11-10-2018 01:01 PM

Indian red/Guards red.

Looks like GR in the unpainted sections. The half assed paint job probably drove many of the BAT types away.

That car just needs "Mary K" logos on the doors to complete it (or maybe "My Little Pony" logos)! :D

Agreed, many unanswered questions. Who knows, it could be a decent car but as the saying goes, buy the seller.

LOL. I was thinking it might be Barbie's DD instead of her Jeep.

Looks like a fun car if hookers and blow are your thing.

Macroni 11-11-2018 07:15 AM

Love the color..... but it is a repaint so I would want a close examination..... I would probably pull it apart and complete the color change properly..... Motor would be upgraded also considering there is no value as everything is a mis-match... This car needs to become a proper 3.8RS hotrod.....

^^ Exactly the way to do it.

Dont know if its my MAWG perception but taking pics of the car at what looks like a mobile home park seems like a strange choice to me.

Still think it could be a very good start, its value is no longer primarily as a factory M491. It need to come from where it ends up as a very unique hotrod built out of a factory M491.
In its current state i think mid high 40's is fair.
