My fetish for green
Is coming forth again.
Anyone look at that green 76 that’s been on the ‘bay for a while now. It looks clean - at least glancing at it - so I’m wondering why it’s still f/s |

Love the color. Hate the CA emissions. I would pay $50k for that car as an SC. I would pay that for it as a 75. As a 76-77 to me it's a 20-25% price hit. Maybe to someone who has no emissions rules and wants to deal with it as it sits now. I'm not going there without a good discount.

So CA emissions are that big a haircut. Glad I don’t live there. 25 and older no emissions here.

It’s not just having to test it. It has to do with the fact those components generate undue heat and excess wear on the engine. It looks like no smog pump and converted from the 5 blade fan but the exhaust is still there. Likely every mile on the car was run with them. Now I’m buying a question mark 2.7 I need to rebuild. It’s gonna need thousands in case work and reinforcement. So even if you aren’t required to keep the crap, the crap has added wear and tear.
