Thanks for sharing that one.

However - interesting dates.

I believe that mainstream Disco is actually considered 1974-1977 - years which very interestingly coincide with 911 mid-year years. But I would argue it's '74 through '79. All those BeeGees jams are '76.

Anything pre-'74 year-wise I don't believe is considered "Disco Era." But then again, they wouldn't have a story if they just listed a '74 hotrod.

Saturday Night Fever was released December of 1977. I'm gonna agree with your dates.

Hey! That was my Targa. This article was originally in the Robb Report. (and with photos)

https://robbreport.com/motors/cars/1970s-porsche-911s-scottsdale-auctions-2840899/

Does that make me any more hip? I would like to be hip. I haven't been hip since disco.

I was there. Disco was alive, well and flourishing in '74. In 72/73 it was just starting. Just a ridiculous era.

I like the custom rear bumper on this one. Safety bumper with long hood style. This would match a SC RS front really well.

Title is off. Wasn't disco mid to late 70's? Not a single IB in the lot...

No seriously. Disco and midyears came in and out at the same exact time. Coincidence? I think not. Midyears have come 'round - so maybe you'd better start collecting that Disco vinyl for an investment. There will be a BeeGees cassette in the '75S when I get it on the road this year.

Despite what everyone thinks, Ronnie's comments actually motivate. So I took it upon myself to update my profile with an actual picture of Sal Paradise. Enjoy.

I’ve contemplated doing a bumper similar to that one but it’s too monochromatic for me. Whatever I do I want to get rid of the reflector.

Been close to 30 years since I last read On The Road.
