What can I expect to get for a set of front seats?

I will be selling in the near future a set of front seat from a 76 Carrera. The leather is cracked and will need to be replaced but the foam is good. These are comfort seats and not the sport seats.
Sorry I don't have good shots of the seats as I am out of town.

Those are not anything unique or special to that specific year or car. Comfort seats sell for $150-400 typically

bcgreen 02-12-2019 05:49 AM

Is that for each or a set?

set. If they are nice original or well restored with leather, you can get double that. But for $500 more you can get a set of decent 81-84 sport seats which are a much better seat.

A set. If they are regular comfort seats and not sport seats and need to be recovered they are not worth much. I would be very happy to get $400 for the set if they are regular cracked comfort seats. They would be a hard sell at that - as comfort seats are available pretty much everywhere as cores.

I am hoping to get another set that are covered in original material that are very very difficult to find that I have searching for 2 yrs. now.

Nothing special about beat comfort seats. A quick search of the parts F/S tells you everything.
If someone offers you $250 take it.

Although the foam may appear to be " good" , once you peel off the existing seat covers, very likely will need to be replaced.

I just purchased off CL a set of decent seats (no cracks or tears) but a bit tired for 150.

Please identify sources for 81-84 sport seats in decent shape for anywhere less than $2000. Cores are going for $1500 and up...

Problem is the cost to recover them is 600.00 to 2,400.00

Basically your selling a frame.

See them all the time 250-400 if need for manual seat recover. Shipping cost greyhound 150.00-250.00 doesnt help.

Not for 81-84. $1200-1500 typically. Available from 944’s as well. 74-80’s $2000-2500 for ones needing re-upholstery
