Thanks again for playing with my 72 purple Frankenstein. I have another 911 that I now own for the second time. I bought it back from the person I sold it to in Philly and drove it home to Spokane in 2017. With my race car project, one of them should go. Given the $'s the Martini car brought, maybe I should throw a quick black paint job and some stickers on her :-) This one is tough in my mind because I found when I sold it in 2011 not many people cared about the mechanical details. Maybe that has changed a bit as values have changed. Thoughts on value as it sits?

The total mileage is bit off from the odo as it was driven to Philly from Seattle and the odo stopped working about halfway but essentially the car was not used after I sold it as the buyer planned to start doing DE's and never did. I did a full service last year, fixed the odometer and the Fikses were put back on with new Khumo ecstas.

I have the original Pascha seats, console and other interior bits. It has a DAS roll bar in it currently. Paint looks better in the photos than it is. Quite a bit of road wear on the front sections and mirrors. I have all receipts from the original build. My plan for this car was to put the interior back together, have the seats redone, new carpet and remove the roll bar (bolt in) since I have another track/race car.

Adjusting for drivetrain losses and converting to DIN gives 255 HP at the crank. Excellent compression and leak down figures available from PPI done at Gerber at purchase.
• Rebuild details: 10.3:1 compression ratio Euro pistons and cylinders; low mileage 964 turbo crankshaft; 993 cams; cylinder heads ported and polished by Chris; case webs relieved for windage; ARP rod bolts; rods rebushed, balanced and resized end-for-end; pistons weight balanced; crank, flywheel and pressure plate balanced; throttle body bored out 3mm; intake manifold “ported” for larger throttle body and polished; injectors rebuilt and blueprinted; adjustable rising rate fuel pressure regulator; SSI headers with fully functional heat exchangers; new CV joints and axle shafts; Monty dual outlet muffler; Autothority chip customized for application.
• Transmission rebuilt at Chris Powell's shop by Ted on 10/1/02 @ 118,770 with a new Quaife limited slip differential; Swepco 201 fluid; poly shift coupler bushings. Momo leather shift knob and OEM leather boot. Roughly 25,000 on that rebuild
• Rebuilt pedal cluster with bronze bushings.
• Personal brand deep dish leather covered steering wheel.
• Suspension: Sway-Away tubular torsion bars; 22mm front, 29mm rear; TRG adjustable anti-sway bars (the finest obtainable); Koni Sport Adjustable shocks; Poly-graphite spring plate bushings; re-enforced rear sway bar mounts; turbo tie-rod ends; autocross/track alignment and corner balanced.
• Brakes: Carrera front and rear calipers; slotted Carrera rotors, DOT SS brake lines, Cool-Brake front brake ducts. Proportioning valve from Carrera installed
• Wheels: Fikse FM-10; 8.5”x17” in front, 9.5”x17” in rear mounted with Khumo Ecstas, new tires.

That’s no 964, so a paint job won’t double your value. Its a $40k car.

I'm not even joking when I say the following:

Put Fifteen 52 Outlaw 001's on it with new rubber and lower it a lot.

Put h4's on it.

Remove the whale and put an all black duck on it.

Put the original pascha seats and seatbelts back in. Put in coco or plain black floor mats, or rennline race mats. Sell the rollbar, seats, whale, and wheels to pay for the new stuff.

Oh yeah, take the boot off the shifter and put a billet black rennline knob on.

This & also put some 7" & 8" Fuchs, change out the wheel for a Magnus Walker Momo and maybe add a wood shift knob. $45k to $50k allday on BAT.

Seems like there is a formula that generally works right now on BAT for 911s... why not apply it and see what happens.

Martini livery adds $10 grand on BAT

Apparently removing the carpet and then spraying on a pick up truck bed liner as the interior is highly desirable too.

On BAT: With Fuchs, original interior, steering wheel & photographed well. Maybe play to the market. Carrera side stripe in black ? Graphic / styling is well received over there.
