Late 70's sport seats - value?

What's a nice original condition pair worth? Typical wear, "patina," but no splits holes cracks etc. They are black original perf leather. These are not the 81-84 style. They are the earlier "mid year" style.

i've gotten decent "cores" for as little as $1500. I think i own 5 sets lol

$2500 would be well bought if the leather is in good nick. without pics to back up how nice they are, it's hard to say. if they're nice, i would think you could get between $3-4K if you're patient.

nathan, i'd offer that you have found good deals on your seats. i think the market will bear more than that. the 81-84 seats go pretty easily as cores for $1000, usable vinyl seats $1500-2000 and up. leather better yet.

and obviously the earlier seats get a fair bit more...

You say $3000-4000 I said $2000-3000. We are not far off. Sure if they are in good enough shape to not re-upholster I’ll agree to as high as $3500-4000
