Prices on items and cars for sale.

It is bad enough that the prices are left out of ads for cars and parts for sale even though the moderators are explicit that they are included. But, a lot of the times the prices are so well hidden in the verbiage that I stop looking because it takes so much time. Are they embarrassed of the price? It is so much to ask to place the price at the top, preferably on the topic line. Just saying. I have bought many Porsches impulsively. When I look at an ad for a car that I might be interested in, I am a potential customer. People advertising their car or parts who hide the prices are losing at least one potential customer.

IMO you are over stating the issue significantly. if I need a part badly enough and no price is included I simply reach out via PM.

don't get me started on the "sticky" threads on the 911 tech forum...

I think it should be a rule that the price on a car is in the title. I think they hide it to make you read the whole thread looking. They leave it off so that you have to make direct contact. It’s a dealer thing. Personally I would require dealers to have “pro” accounts so we know they are dealers.

if you raw were a fish you'd never grow to trophy size cause you take even the simplest bait on the hook. I never, and I mean ever compose a post here in the MPF without figuring how to masturbate raw some....

call me sick that way..

Frequently its the same dealers over and over in the cars for sale section. It gets old.

Take some risk fella's, put a price out there. Oh, and those are the rules too.

I don't sell anything but personal property here. I definitely don't qualify as a dealer of any sorts. Someone PMs me about my parts I usually don't read it for 2-3 days and then give them my email address. I'm not working when I'm here. When I get approached about selling my stuff here I feel like Seinfeld must feel when someone walks up to him in a cafe and asks for a selfie. F that...

Then the mods need to DELETE those ads until the put prices, I'm not going to use the click bait.

All they need to do is implement a template that must be filled out before the thread is posted, sort of like how Rennlist does it. The price field would be mandatory.

....the thing I don't get is why people don't post their location. What is it top secret or something?

Someone may track me down and steal my super valuable Porsche if they know the town I live in.

Same reason they don't post a price. Usually it's a dealer and they want you to contact them so they can collect your info and try to sell you the car or another one.
