Value of option 220 LSD on a 915 Carrera
 

Helping a friend sell their father's original owner 1984 with option code 220. Car has 156k miles and seems very well cared for but elderly owner doesn't know history on the diff. I am presuming this is a plate style viscous unit and may be worn out, or are they very durable? What adjustment to asking price would you make?

It’s a nice selling point but I don’t know that it actually adds any value. They are pretty durable but do wear out. You can jack up one wheel and test the breakaway on it.
