I'm guessing it's worth around mid $100k range. Hard to put a number on it due to the salvage title. I would try a consignment specialist like Auto Kennel since you are in So Cal. They have a great rep in the community. BAT is always an option but you will need to do more work and have a realistic reserve.

Here's a top $$$ comp from RM from last year.

They made more than 30, there were 62 M505 coupes made for the US market. In terms of value, here’s a comp for you from an auction last August...

Auctions - 1989 Porsche 930 Turbo Slant Nose Coupe | Owls Head Transportation Museum

This is an ‘89 with just 10k more miles on it, in Guards red on black interior as well, and with a reconstructed title too. However, this reconstructed title is due to a theft recovery, which I’d think is a better title issue to have than one that has literally been totaled due to physical damage. It’s probably as good a comp as you’re going to find. With that said, though, and it’s only my opinion, but I think it could be hard for yours to attain this same price due to yours being totaled versus this one just being stolen and recovered. I know this one sold below its estimate, but I think that estimate was based on fairy tales and pixie dust. Nobody was ever going to pay 150-175k for a reconstructed title 930 M505 coupe, maybe in a decade that’s the market, but it isn’t right now. If you can get 131k for yours I’d be a bit surprised simply based on this like kind comp. I’d prefer owning the theft salvage with 10k more miles on it over your accident salvage. That’s just my two cents, maybe others see it differently. It at least gives you a baseline if nothing else.

I think it’s 179 total M505/506s, with 62 of those being M505 coupes.

At $130,900 it most definitely includes the buyer’s fee, that’s not just the hammer price. There is no such thing as bidding increments of $100 at this price point.

I think your salvaged/rebuilt title will cost you between 40-50%, which makes sense when you look at the like kind comp specialtyoneinc showed you with the exact same miles and colors as yours. If you take 40-50% off that final sale price of 224k, it gets you a range of 112-134k, which looks a lot like the Owls Head sale. I wouldn’t expect it to sell above the top end of that range.

Good luck with it.

Bring a Trailer would be the direction I would go. Be prepared for the peanut gallery though.
