They mention that tickets are non-transferable and will likely be checking IDs at the gate.

Is it sold out? A friend bought a ticket just a day ago.

Per the site: https://luftgekuhlt.com/event-info
TICKET POLICY Luft 6 is now sold out. Tickets are non-refundable and non-transferrable. Luft 6 is a rain or shine event. Property security requires all entrants over the age of 12 to be ticketed, and requires us to have the names of all our attendees 13 and older on a list. Each attendee over 12 at Luft 6 should be prepared to show identification at the gate. There will be no day-of or gate ticket sales. |

No, they're not. But they didn't check last year and I'd be shocked if this year is any different. Check around. LOTS of tickets changed hands last year on this site and others without any issues.

I don’t recall the disclaimers last year and this year was name specific last year was not. They said they will be checking ID’s at the door

Yes, they had the exact same disclaimers last year and said the exact same thing. But they didn't check ID's. It's a very common practice to discourage scalping but in reality probably too labor intensive and/or technologically challenging to pull off for an event this size.

I checked my emails from last year and there was no language stating non-transferable for pedestrians. They didn’t ask for pedestrians name. I was literally given tickets that said “general admission” so nice try.

I'm guessing that with this year's location security is going to be more strict. I bet they check ID.

Universal Studios is a high security terrorist target, so I guess this is why they are strict with who they let in. Total BS I know. Non-Refundable tickets, Name and ID only, blah blah

Universal Studios admits millions of visitors each years without ID. This has nothing to do with the venue. It's to prevent scalping.

I got my car into Luft and I only get 1 ticket for myself. No others for family members. Kinda sucks
