Careers value please

Dang auto correct. Carrera

So a friend of a friend stop by the shop today to ask me a fair market value for his Porsche that he and his son is looking to sell. I mainly am involved with the water cooled stuff but told him I’d be happy to help out. His son bought the car sometime around 2000 and had a Trumatic brain injury in 2003 at which point the car was mainly stored and started every month or so. To my untrained eye on the 911 this looks like a really good example he has owned it for the afore-mentioned 18 years or so and is going to get me what he knows of the car. He says it does leak some oil and shifting can be tricky but other than that it has been regular maintenance to his knowledge. If any of you have recommendations on where He should list it, value, options that you can see, Engine numbers,or size… I appreciate the helphttp://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1558190466.jpg

Looks like a sunroof car. What's the mileage and year?

plyhammer 05-18-2019 06:58 AM

He believed it was an 85 and is checking.

$35-40k for a pretty easy sale if they spend a few bucks to get it running right after sitting so long. Really sorry to hear about the TBI. I’ve got one and that shyte changes your life forever. If they list it on BaT they will get top dollar but will need to detail and photograph it professionally. List it here for a more quick sale at a set price.
