993 market - specific car in question

Good afternoon market Pelicans.

I was wondering about this specific 993 here.
https://www.porscheatlantaperimeter.com/inventory/used-1998-porsche-911-carrera-s-rwd-2d-coupe-wp0aa2995ws320927

It looks like it is on consignment by the dealer so most likely the owner's high ask, but also it seems the tail script of "911S" is incorrect. Shouldn't the "Carrara S" be on the tail fir the Aero kit?

Do you guys see anything else "off" as well as what a proper offer would be?

Thanks!

for sure its a beautiful 993 Carrera S, yes it is priced a bit high, you'r buying from a trusted Porsche dealer with a $ service. The rear spoiler looks great but from a turbo, so what is your question beside the non issue 911S logo, take if off. If the price is to high for you, go shopping on BAT / CL / Pelikan / Rennlist and other sides on your own risq, good luck rxtrom and let us how that turned out.

Well my issue with the script is that the carfax reports front and rear damage, the car fax is on the website I linked. SO if its not correct script then most likely there are other reasons for the script change. The brake calipers are yellow, which is not stock either, but not a big deal.

I am mainly looking for a market sleuth's opinion on what to offer, and other signs of changes from standard.

Script isn't factory. Aero kit looks correct. Price is definitely high. 6 figures for a 50k mile C2S with "damage" on the CarFax. No thank you. $109k should get a no stories example with less mileage.

rxtrom did you show a carfax? C'mon script isn't factory, just making noise? why even ask if it is obvious you are not interested. Yes price is a bit high go figure you are buying from the Porsche dealer, go shop on CL.

pingpong, it would be easier for the rest of us to follow what you're trying to say if you wrote a little more clearly. Apologies if English isn't your native language.

Perhaps! Pingpong's prose perfect? I'd postulate perfection is precluded from the present picture.

Please pardon my post. I'm particularly pressed for picking perfectly planned phrasing.

White label with option codes is missing under the frunk lid - perhaps lid was replaced or resprayed on the underside. Badge location on engine lid all wrong as well as the badge itself. Would be more helpful to see the built sheet or window sticker with all option codes listed as there are options shown on the car which are not specified in the dealer's ad - so which other options are not stated? LSD, hollow spoke wheels, yellow calipers, hi-fi sound, stainless big/wide oval exhaust tips, etc. Very little effort put into that ad/listing. Paint meter readings on certain panels shown on another site of 3 - 3.5 mils indicates heavy polishing or thin new panel paint from the front and rear accident impacts.

Thank you very much. It is all wrong for me at that price for sure. I'm going to contact the dealer and get more info.

Thanks.

I believe PCNA gives "price guidance" to their dealers on used cars. The silver C2S referenced has a real world market value in the 80s, IMO, considering its thin option sheet, moderate miles and accident history.
